postheadericon Recyclable & Reusable – Vintage Containers for the Wedding Reception

Give your wedding reception tables a bit of character (and be eco-friendly at the same time) by using vintage containers for your centerpieces. You can pick up a variety of vintage containers at your local thrift store, flea market, swap meet, or antique store. Your vintage containers don’t even need to be the same or match – you can dress them up with ribbons, paint them, or stylize them in another way to match your wedding colors and theme. Be creative with how you fill your containers as well – you don’t have to only use flowers! If you obtain a shallow container, consider adding floating candles in or river rocks with tea lights nested in with the rocks.

Need ideas for what kind of containers? Think of old glass, mason jars, old tins, vases, old cans or canisters, water jugs – anything with a little character!
